Related Midwest has unveiled and opened its experiential on-site leasing center and six Kara Mann-decorated models at OneEleven, offering the first look inside the much-anticipated 60-story ultra-luxury rental tower at 111 W. Wacker Drive as it welcomes first move-ins July 1. Featuring 504 apartment residences and a prominent address overlooking the Chicago River, OneEleven brings a sophisticated new rental lifestyle to Chicago’s Loop with its mix of exceptional amenities, hotel-level services and notable design.
OneEleven is already more than 30 percent leased since pre-leasing began in April, underscoring the strong demand for upscale rentals in downtown Chicago.
Related Midwest partnered with New York-based Handel Architects to design a soaring glass tower that incorporated a partially constructed base formerly designed as a hotel and condominium tower by a previous developer. Using a recessed glass ribbon that winds up and around the building, Handel seamlessly connected the original base with the new tower, referencing adjacent building heights and creating opportunities for green spaces and balconies that offer impressive views of downtown Chicago, according to Gary Handel, president of the firm.
Related also called upon noted Chicago- and New York-based interior designer Kara Mann to create a distinctive look for the building’s lobby and select amenity spaces.
