Sarah Wick, a project manager at Related Midwest, was awarded ULI Chicago’s Young Visionary Award for her work on the historic Julia C. Lathrop Homes.
Sarah Wick was presented the award at the sixth annual Urban Land Institute Chicago Vision Awards held May 31 at Morgan MFG in Chicago’s West Loop.
Wick joined Related Midwest in 2014 and has helped the company finance, acquire and develop more than 2,100 affordable residences throughout CHicago and the Midwest representing a total investment of nearly $460 million. Currently, she is the day-to-day project manager for the revitalization of the Julia C. Lathrop Homes on Chicago’s Northwest Side. The project aims to transform the historic property into a vibrant mixed-use, mixed-income community.
Wick joined related after working as the project manager at The Community Builders Inc. and Jonathan Rose Companies.
As an active member of ULI, Wick serves on the ULI Chicago Women’s Leadership Initiative executive board. She holds a master’s degree in regional and urban planning from the Pratt Institute and bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin Madison.
