Leopardo Companies, Inc. recently completed an addition and renovation at Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel on River Road in Rosemont.
Work on a 3,000-square-foot port cochere addition at the entrance and a 5,000-square-foot renovation of the hotel’s lobby and first-floor common areas has wrapped up.
Lobby upgrades included a new reception desk backed by a custom fabricated metal wall, a stone and cable sculptural wall, as well multiple living moss walls, one of which features a large media display broadcasting various news outlets for guests to watch while they wait for meetings, events or to check in.
Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel is a 556-room hotel with 60 additional suites, as well an onsite restaurant and an art gallery that exhibits rotating work by local artists. The renovation was completed while the hotel remained open and fully operational. Leopardo served as general contractor in collaboration with architect Solomon Cordwell Buenz.
