REX  Electric & Technologies LLC has formed a strategic alliance with Dairyland Electric Co. Inc., an electrical contractor based in southeast Wisconsin.

According to REX President Michael Segreti, the alliance is designed to help clients of both REX and Dairyland Electric realize better service and value for the electrical contracting and technology services provided by the two contractors.

“We have seen growth in all of our markets – from our vertical industry sectors, including data centers, healthcare, industrial, schools and universities to other general commercial work – and we want to provide our clients with the best solutions to their electrical contracting and systems integration needs,” Segreti said.

He noted that REX is one of the nation’s largest systems integrators, as noted by SCN Magazine, and that the company has seen particularly strong growth this year in general electrical services, communications, energy management and voice/data.

“While our roots are in Chicago, we have been expanding our footprint to other markets and we look forward to working closely with the Dairyland team in Milwaukee and southeastern Wisconsin as well as in the Chicago area,” Segreti said.

Dairyland was founded in 1998 by Christopher Martinez, and serves clients in both the metro-Milwaukee area and northern Illinois. Martinez noted that Dairyland’s key areas of expertise include energy efficiency, voice/data, photovoltaic (solar power) and structured cabling solutions in many of the industry sectors served by REX.

“We are proud and pleased to be working with REX Electric and look forward to many exciting projects in the months and years ahead. Our companies have tremendous synergies and we look forward to passing along added value and expertise to our clients,” Martinez said.
