RJM Construction has been selected by the city of Shakopee, Minnesota, to oversee its downtown public improvements project.
The project includes reconstructuring the Lews Street parking lot with landscaping, specialty pavement and a new concrete alley; construction of a new plaza at the River City Center including two pieces of sculpture; development of a new gateway pedestrian plaza with brick sculptural elements and concrete crosswalks across County Highway 101 to Huber Park.
Construction is scheduled to begin Aug. 1.
