RMC Holdings Hampshire announced the closing of two sale transactions at the new Metrix Industrial Park located at the northwest corner of Interstate 90 and State Route 20 in Hampshire, Illinois. The transactions were brokered by Dave Schmidt and Linda Kost of Realty Metrix Commercial.
The McCoy Group, based out of Dubuque, Iowa, purchased 13 acres from RMC Holdings Hampshire for the development and construction of a Truck Country facility. Construction of a 40,000-square-foot facility is planned to begin this spring. Truck Country is the largest Freightliner dealer group in the U.S.
Separately, Stream’s Edge Properties, LLC purchased 18 acres from RMC Holdings Hampshire. Their site work was completed in advance of their closing. Schmidt and Kost assisted Stream’s Edge with their acquisition, the re-zoning of their parcel and coordinated site work to help expedite their construction schedule, which will begin this spring.
Metrix Industrial Park is a 45-acre project focused on collaborative users in trucking and cartage. It is adjacent to the new 33-acre Love’s Truck and Travel Stop, which is currently under construction with a planned opening of April 2019.
“It’s wonderful to see Metrix Industrial Park come to fruition,” said Hampshire Village President Jeff Magnussen. “It has been a great team effort between the village, Love’s and RMC Holdings Hampshire. We are very excited to welcome Truck Country/Stoops and Stream’s Edge to our community.”
