Robbins, Salomon & Patt names three to its real estate law practice

Robbins, Salomon & Patt, Ltd. (RSP) recently appointed three attorneys to the firm’s real estate law practice. The attorneys—Ryan T. Johnson, Cornelius “Con” F. Riordan and Justin L. Weisberg—were formerly with Schuyler, Roche, & Crisham, P.C. and will be based in Chicago.

Johnson has joined the RSP team of construction law and commercial litigation attorneys as a new shareholder. He practices in the areas of construction law, professional liability and complex commercial litigation. Johnson comes to RSP with over 15 years of experience successfully representing clients in construction-related matters in Illinois and nationally, including jury and bench trials in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration proceedings

Riordan joins the firm as of counsel. For over 40 years, his practice has focused representing contractors, sureties and lenders in both litigation and transactional aspects of construction and surety law. Riordan has tried cases to verdict for contractors and sureties as well as representing them in appeals in both state and federal courts.

Weisberg joined the RSP team of construction law and commercial litigation attorneys as a new shareholder. He brings over 20 years of experience representing private, public, local and international clients in construction-related transactions and litigation matters. Weisberg’s legal experience has included contract negotiation and drafting of design, design-build, IPD, P3 and construction contracts as well as mediation, arbitration and litigation.
