Rockbridge Partners has acquired the historic Canterbury Hotel, a 99-room, full-service hotel located in downtown Indianapolis.
Rockbridge will renovate the hotel into an upscale property. Renovations will include refurbishments to the lobby area, relocating and expanding the fitness center, redeveloping the hotel’s restaurant and updating the lounge.
The hotel’s restrooms will also be renovated.
“The Canterbury is a special property that we plan to revitalize with a significant investment,” said James Merkel, president and chief executive officer of Rockbridge, in a written statement.
