Roseville, Minnesota-based developers Lupe Development Partners named Aaron Diederich as its new president and chief operating officer.
Diederich will lead the company following 20 years of dedicated service, most recently as vice president of construction, where he oversaw dozens of successful major developments across the metro, focused on urban infill redevelopment of commercial and housing properties.
Since its founding in 1989, Lupe Development has developed, owned and renovated more than 2,200 apartment or condominium units and more than one million square feet of retail, residential and industrial property. Most recently, the firm has added nearly 600 units of affordable housing to the Twin Cities metro in the past five years.
As part of this transition, former President Lucy Brown and former Vice President Steve Minn will retire from full-time work at Lupe Development. They will continue to offer advice and guidance to Lupe staff as members of the Board of Directors where Brown serves as Executive Chairwoman. Brown and Minn will also transition from their ownership roles at Lupe over the next few years.
Lupe Development Partners remains locally owned and operated, with the board maintaining direct control over all project management and planning to ensure high-quality projects that are responsive to community needs. The board consists of Diederich, Brown, Minn and Brian Flakne.
