R&R Realty Group represented Co-op Solutions in its lease of 99,700 square feet as the newest flagship customer at the Palisade Building at 50th Street and University Avenue in West Des Moines.
The Southern California-based financial services company was eager to invest in high-quality workspace as a way to continue its growth. Company leadership stated that the location and various possible amenities at the Palisade Building contributed to its decision to locate there.
This lease represents continued progress within the Westown Parkway corridor in West Des Moines. In 2021, R&R announced significant reinvestment efforts at a variety of other area class-A office buildings in its portfolio.
New amenities at parks like Three Fountains and Regency West have included items ranging from state-of-the-art fitness centers with treadmills, elliptical machines and Peloton exercise bikes to “grab and go” markets that provide food and beverage options for people on the move.
The Palisade Building itself received new brick stain and several other exterior items that have helped modernize the structure and increase visibility from the intersection of University Avenue and 50th Street. Tenant improvement projects and renovation work has begun at the Palisade Building
