Commercial construction and development company Russell added Ryan Schroeder as president of its Kansas City, Missouri, region, marking a significant step in Russell’s continued expansion and leadership in the region.
Schroeder brings more than 37 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. He recently retired as President and CEO of CRB, a global design and construction firm specializing in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and food & beverage sectors. Under his leadership, CRB grew to over 1,300 employees across 20 offices in North America and Europe, earning a reputation as a leader in integrated project delivery for highly technical, specialized markets.
Schroeder will lead strategic growth initiatives, foster key client and partner relationships, and help shape the office’s culture and long-term vision. Utilizing his expertise in the advanced technology industries, Schroeder will enhance Russell’s diverse portfolio of services and strengthen their ability to deliver complex, high-performance facilities for clients in these rapidly evolving sectors.
This leadership addition supports Russell’s proven dual-leadership structure, pairing operational oversight with business growth and culture-focused leadership. Following its successful implementation in St. Louis, Russell’s dual-leadership model is now being introduced in Kansas City.
As part of this strategic structure, Greg Sikora will assume the role of Vice President, National Operations. With his deep operational expertise and proven leadership, he will oversee project execution in Kansas City and across Russell’s national traveling markets. Schroeder will collaborate closely with Sikora to ensure project excellence, playing a central role in expanding Russell’s presence and impact across the Kansas City region.
