Ryan Companies US, Inc. has completed the construction of a 225,000-square-foot industrial facility at 2750 Alft Lane within the Randall Crossings Business Park in Elgin, Ill. Ryan has owned the 70-acre park since 2005. According to Ryan, the development and completion of this building underscores the strength of the Chicago and northwest suburban markets.
Randall Crossings Business Park is a master-planned business park which provides flexible industrial uses from general industrial and manufacturing to distribution and office space in a commerce park environment.
Construction on the 2750 Alft Lane building, completed for Bridge Development which bought the land, began early in the fourth quarter of 2013. The building, which sits on a 10.16-acre land site, was designed with the flexibility to be a single- or multi-tenant facility. The building is a single-load facility with 48 foot-by-50 foot typical bay sizes, a 60-foot speed bay, 32-foot clear ceiling height, and office space to suit. Included in the building are 46 truck docks, four drive-in doors and parking for 160 vehicles.
With the completion of 2750 Alft Lane, there now are four buildings totaling approximately 755,000 square feet of occupied space at Randall Crossings with two more buildings in the planning stages for a spring of 2015 construction start.
According to John Dunneback, Director of Development, Ryan Companies US, Inc., the Elgin market continues to be strong and is particularly attractive for mid-size users. Randall Crossings Business Park boasts a convenient location less than one-half mile from Randall Road and the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90).
Ken Franzese and John Cassidy, principals with Lee & Associates, are marketing the business park on behalf of Ryan Companies.
Randall Crossings represents one of four Chicago area business parks developed by Ryan Companies: Randall Crossings Business Park in Elgin, Boldt Park in Romeoville, Territorial Business Center in Bolingbrook and Laraway Crossings Business Park in Joliet.
