Bob Goodpaster has been named senior vice president of Construction Operations for the Great Lakes Region of Ryan Companies US, Inc.
In his new role, Goodpaster is responsible for the overall direction of all construction activities, including project management and field supervision, for Ryan’s Great Lakes Region, which includes: Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.
Goodpaster brings more than 35 years of diversified and extensive experience—encompassing construction, design-build and management—to his new role. In his 31-plus years with the firm, he has been instrumental in its growth, ultimately progressing from project manager to senior vice president of Construction Operations for the entire region.
His experience is broad-based which has allowed him and the firm to meet the challenges of the largest, most complicated projects—from high-rise residential and corporate office buildings to medical office buildings for leading local and regional healthcare systems and specialized industrial facilities for corporate users, among others.
Goodpaster is a LEED Accredited Professional. Since 2014, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Northern Illinois Food Bank.
