S. M. Wilson & Co. has been selected by Westminster College to serve as the construction manager of the new $4 million Mueller Stadium in Fulton, Missouri.
The new athletic stadium is being made possible thanks to a $4 million gift from Westminster alumnus Kent Mueller and his wife Judy.
Construction of the new Mueller Stadium at Priest Field encompasses the stadium structure itself, turf, scoreboard, lights, bleachers, press box, concessions, restrooms and other facility enhancements. This will be the largest capital improvement project on the Westminster campus in more than a decade.
The new stadium will be located within the college’s existing sports complex, which includes a training facility, softball and baseball fields, tennis courts and soccer fields.
The project will be done in phases. Phase I of the project will include new turf, lights and scoreboard, to be completed by August 2018 by the start of football season. Phase II will include the bleachers, press box, concession and restrooms to be completed in Summer 2019.
KWK Architects will design the project. Construction is expected to be complete by early Summer 2019.
