Relocating from its current spot in a multi-tenant building at the cross section of West 7th Street and Montreal Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota, Saint City Dental is staying close to its patient base with a new practice.
Groundwork started on the development site for Saint City Dental at 1600 W. 7th St. just weeks ago in mid-August, with goals for a first patient day sometime in late spring of 2025.
The new building is slated to be an approximately 10,000-square-foot structure with the dental practice occupying most of the building, all but a 1,500-square-foot vacancy on the ground floor. The ground level will be dedicated clinical space for Saint City Dental and the nearly 2,000 square feet of second floor will accommodate administrative workspaces and staff amenities. This roughly doubles the amount of square footage the dental practitioner currently holds.
The urban redevelopment site was long known to be the home of a Burger King, but the chain restaurant location closed abruptly in 2018, when the ownership group was forced to surrender the property due to bankruptcy. In 2022, the City of Saint Paul ordered the vacant structure’s demolition, paving the way for new use.
