Chicago-based @properties has announced the start of sales for PLSN Condos, located in the 800 block of West Cullerton Street in Pilsen. The 23-unit project is one of only a handful of new condominium developments being built in the rapidly emerging neighborhood on Chicago’s Near South Side.
PLSN Condos is comprised of four buildings, the first of which is set to deliver five residences this fall. The other three buildings will offer six residences apiece. The boutique development has single-level and duplex plans with two, three and four bedrooms, extra-wide living areas, large private outdoor space and garage parking. Prices for the first two buildings range from $399,000 to $699,000.
“The story in Pilsen is high demand and low supply. The neighborhood is gaining in popularity, and there just aren’t a lot of condominiums to satisfy the needs of new-construction buyers. PLSN Condos is cool and contemporary, and it’s a great value compared to new-construction in neighborhoods like East Village or Logan Square, which offer a similar vibe,” said Jed Skae, a broker with @properties, the exclusive sales and marketing firm for the development.
The condominiums are outfitted with Bosch stainless steel appliances, high-end bath fixtures, high ceilings, wide-plank hardwood floors and expansive outdoor spaces. PLSN Condos is located in the heart of Pilsen’s thriving cultural scene, close to restaurants, bars, the Thalia Hall concert venue and Dvorak Park. The development is also just two blocks from Lacuna Lofts, a loft-office building housing a diverse collection of more than 80 local businesses and organizations.
“This is a great location. You can fall out of your door and into any of the shops, cafes, parks and restaurants that make up the neighborhood,” said Skae. “You can hop on the highway and get anywhere in the city, or take public transportation or bike to the Loop in minutes.”
