The former Growler’s restaurant site at 3811 S. Lindbergh in Sunset Hills, Missouri, was purchased Aug. 6 by locally owned Mellow Mushroom franchisees Mo Mellow, LLC, with the help of St. Louis-based Sansone Group.
The franchisee plans to tear down the former Growler’s and the house behind it to build an about 6,000-square-foot Mellow Mushroom Restaurant. Plans include a large beer garden/patio and a possible Bocce Ball court. The franchisee anticipates opening sometime in March of 2016.
This is the first Mellow Mushroom pizza restaurant to come to the St. Louis area and the first in Missouri.
