Anthony Sansone Sr., who founded St. Louis' Sansone Group in 1957, was honored this month by EY for his long commitment to real estate and his community.
Sansone received his EY lifetime achievement award June 19 at the annual EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2014 Gala at the Sheraton Overland Park hotel in Overland Park, Kansas. Now in its 28th year, the EY program has expanded to recognize business leaders in more than 145 cities in more than 60 countries.
EY honored Mr. Sansone as an industry leader and for his entrepreneurial achievements, growing Sansone Group into a nationally recognized commercial real estate firm. Four of Sansone's eight children are currently involved in the business. His sons Jim, Nick, Doug and Tim are all principals at Sansone Group.
