Sansone Group has been awarded the 2013 Prestigious Landscape Award from the City of Quincy Tree Commission for their landscape and tree-planting efforts at Prairie Trail.
Prairie Trail (originally named Prairie Crossing) is a 412,000-square-foot retail center, developed by Sansone Group in 2006, bringing new national tenants to the area. In addition to an existing Lowe’s, the tenants include Kohl’s, TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Shoe Carnival, MC Sports, Best Buy and Buffalo Wild Wings.
Jane Peltz, director of commercial property management for Sansone Group accepted the award.
“The City of Quincy and the Quincy Tree Commission would like to thank you for all your support on making Quincy a place that takes pride in their properties and landscape to make a greener place for all our residents and businesses,” read a statement released by the City of Quincy on its website.
Sansone Group has received numerous beautification awards in the past for other Sansone Group developments including: Town Treescape Award from the State of Missouri for Heritage Plaza; Community Improvement Award from the Crestwood/Sunset Hills Chamber of Commerce for Plaza at Sunset Hills and Shoppes at Sunset Hills; Beautification Award from the City of Clayton; Treescape Award from the State of Missouri for Promenade at Brentwood; Landscape/Beautification Award from North County Incorporated for Shoppes at Cross Keys; and the Treescape Award from the State of Missouri for Dierbergs Fenton Crossing.
