Karen Shaw of St. Louis-based Sansone Group has been named Missouri/Kansas government relations chair for the International Council of Shopping Centers.
In this volunteer role, Shaw will represent the interests of owners, developers, investors, marketers and other retail specialists across the states of Missouri and Kansas.
“ICSC is delighted to welcome Karen Shaw into this new leadership role,” said Tim Weaver, the council’s state director. “Her enthusiasm and willingness to contribute to the success of ICSC and the retail real estate industry will be of great benefit to our growing membership in the Missouri-Kansas territory.”
Shaw’s previous position with ICSC was as the 2011-2012 Missouri/Kansas Operations Chair. Before that she was the 2010-2011 Alliance Private Sector Chair.
