Save-A-Lot moves to new headquarters in St. Louis

Save-A-Lot will move to a new corporate headquarters at The Crossings at Northwest in St. Ann in north St. Louis County.

With the move, Save-A-Lot will retain more than 450 jobs in the St. Louis and expand its headquarters worforce by about 64 jobs.

St. Louis has been home to Save-A-Lot for more than 40 years. The company began with a single tore in Cahokia, Illinois, in 1977 and expanded quickly within the St. Louis region and beyond. Today, Save-A-Lot’s store and distribution network includes more than 1,200 corporate and licensed stores in 36 states and 16 wholesale ditribution centers.

The mixed-use buildings at The Crossings at Northwest house such companies as Charter Communications, Starbucks and Menards.
