Savills added Michael Bennett, Corporate Managing Director, and Addison Williams, Managing Director, Capital Markets, to its Detroit office.
Bennett brings more than 40 years of commercial real estate experience advising occupiers on industrial and office strategies at the local, national, and global levels. He has extensive expertise in tenant representation, new construction, and build-to-suit transactions, having completed more than 2 million square feet of build-to-suit projects throughout his career.
A long-time Detroit market veteran, Bennett joins Savills from Colliers International, where he served as Executive Vice President and led strategic partner assignments for General Motors across North America. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Corvus International, Trammell Crow Company, and Farbman Group. His addition further strengthens Savills’ senior leadership bench and expands the firm’s reach among corporate occupiers.
In addition to Bennett’s hire, Savills also welcomed Addison Williams, who joins the Detroit office as Managing Director of Capital Markets and operates on a national scale. Williams brings eight years of investment sales experience, all at CBRE, where he was a member of the firm’s Net Lease Property Group and a trusted advisor for income-producing real estate transactions nationwide. Williams represents private and institutional clients across industrial, retail, office, and multifamily asset classes, delivering advisory and execution services tied to all facets of the capital markets.
At Savills, Williams will leverage a sophisticated suite of capital solutions, including sale-leasebacks, equity placements, and recapitalizations, to deepen the firm’s existing tenant partnerships and provide a decisive edge in new business pursuits. By adding a capital markets lens, he will help clients view their real estate not just as space, but as a flexible financial instrument to drive growth.
