GCG Financial, Inc., an Alera Group company, has expanded and extended its lease to occupy approximately 45,000 square feet of office space at Three Parkway North in Deerfield, Illinois. The additional space will accommodate the company’s growth as well as the headquarters of Alera Group, a national insurance brokerage and wealth management firm. GCG has been located at this address since 2015 and initially occupied 36,000 square feet.
John Goodman, vice chairman, and Marc Brash, managing director, of Savills Studley represented GCG in the long-term transaction. Steve Kling and Darryl Silverman of Colliers International represented the building ownership, Fulcrum Asset Advisors, in the lease negotiations.
“John Goodman and his team helped us solve a wonderful challenge,” said Alan Levitz, Alera Group CEO. “The challenge was accommodating successful and rapid growth. GCG Financial has continued to grow its presence in the Chicago area as Alera Group has grown its presence nationally.”
Parkway North Center is an 85-acre campus located west of I-294 in the north suburbs. The office park currently includes six low-rise office buildings, an athletic club and daycare, and a Marriott Hotel.
“Both organizations welcomed the opportunity to expand in the Deerfield location, a high-end and highly visible office campus, with excellent access to O’Hare and other transit options, as well as to premium housing and a myriad of lifestyle amenities,” said Goodman.
