Savills Studley represented Gerflor, a leading global flooring company, in its recent expansion and renewal of office and industrial space at 595 Supreme Drive in Bensenville, Illinois, becoming the building’s sole tenant at Bensenville Industrial Park.

Gerflor, based in France, is the dominant global firm in the floor-covering space. Its expansion in Chicago and doubling its size is a sign of its commitment to the US market and its expected growth in the United States.

Gerflor approached Savills Studley to advise them in dramatically expanding their U.S. distribution channels, starting with its space in Chicago, according to Mike Mangan, associated director for Savills Studley, who represented Gerflor USA in the lease negotiation along with Bruce McConnell, senior vice president for Savills Studley’s National Industrial Group and managing director, Renae Bradshaw, all of the Chicago office.
