Real estate investment management firm Heitman has hired Scott Napier as senior vice president, client service and marketing. Napier joins a growing team within Heitman’s client service and marketing group with responsibility for supporting the firm’s initiatives and clients within the subadvisory and financial intermediary channels.
“Scott joins Heitman with deep experience working with independent and wirehouse broker dealers, RIAs, third party and institutional investors, and a proven track record of building strong relationships with clients in this growing and important base of real estate investors,” said James Gruver, Heitman global sales leader. “We are pleased to welcome Scott to Heitman and look forward to continuing to extend Heitman’s relationships within the intermediary and high net worth channel, which is a strategic initiative for the firm.”
Prior to joining Heitman, Napier was head of intermediary and third-party distribution at Pzena Investment Management and also held senior roles across several retail platforms, including at OppenheimerFunds and Invesco. Napier has an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
“Intermediaries continue to demand a higher level of sophistication and investment excellence from their investment management partners,” said Napier. “Heitman is uniquely positioned to provide innovative real estate solutions and I am excited for the opportunity to help our clients achieve their investment objectives.”
