The fifth annual Seldin Company food drive in the Omaha area yielded more than 19,000 pounds of food for the Foodbank for the Heartland.
Seldin Company food drives in West Nebraska, South Dakota, Iowa and Texas brought in more than 10,000 items for food bans in local regions, while the drive at Seldin’s corporate office in West Omaha collected about 3,300 items for the Siena Frances House.
Seldin delivered its donation to the Foodbank for the Heartland on Dec. 20, bringing in 19,149 pounds of food. This donation will provide 17,000 meals for those in need in the area, and was the biggest donation not coming from a statewide or nationwide food drive effort.
