ServiceMaster names Nasutsa Mabwa and Sam Zabadnah national Rookie of the Year

The ownership group behind two Chicago-based ServiceMaster franchises has been recognized as the national ServiceMaster Rookie of the Year, an award given to the fastest-growing start-up among all new ServiceMaster businesses nationwide.

Nasutsa Mabwa, president of Balmoral Interests, and Sam Zabadneh, Mabwa’s business partner at ServiceMaster Restoration by Simons in Chicago, generated just under $1 million in revenue in 2014, Balmoral Interests’ first year.

“This recognition of our work in ServiceMaster’s downtown Chicago territory is a significant development for this stage of our growth process,” said Mabwa. “We intend to continue focusing on building the commercial and residential side of our property restoration business by developing and maintaining key relationships in the real estate industry.”

Nasutsa Mabwa and Sam Zabadnah were presented the Rookie of the Year award at the ServiceMaster Clean / ServiceMaster Restore International Convention in San Antonio, which this year had more than 1,400 attendees from all over the world. The award was one of three surprise announcements at the event, which also recognized one company for its growth and another company with an Award of Excellence.
