Simpson Strong-Tie has signed a lease for all 80,000 square feet of Building 1 at United Properties‘ InverPoint Business Park at 8450 Courthouse Blvd. in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.
Simpson Strong-Tie creates structural products for the construction of safe, strong homes and buildings.
The ground-breaking for the build-to-suit project took place in late May, with completion expected in November. Building 1 is the first phase of InverPoint Business Park, which spans about 45 acres and will accommodate 460,000 square feet when fully developed.
Simpson Strong-Tie is headquartered in Pleasanton, California, and has warehouse, manufacturing and training space in Eagan, Minnesota. All Eagan employees will move to the new space at InverPoint, which will feature office, manufacturing and warehouse space. The move will be an expansion of the existing office.
Bryan Van Hoof with CBRE represented Simpson Strong-Tie in the transaction. R.J. Ryan Construction is the builder on the project, and Pope Architects is the architect.
