Skender Construction has been named one of “Chicago’s 101 Best & Brightest Companies To Work For” by the National Association of Business Resources. The Best & Brightest Companies To Work For competition identifies and honors organizations that display a commitment to excellence in employee enrichment. Skender Construction has received this recognition for five consecutive years.

“We are dedicated to maintaining a team of energetic employees that are aligned with our values of integrity, excellence, entrepreneurship and client service,” said Joe Skender, president of Skender Construction. “We invest in our employees long-term by building a solid support system through reciprocation, mentorship and continuing education.”

Some of Skender Construction’s employee benefit programs include company sponsored health insurance, a 401(k) profit sharing plan, continued education reimbursement, health and wellness packages, paid vacation and holidays, service awards for multiple years of service, a mentoring program and regular company activities and outings.

“Being named a Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies To Work For is a designation that hundreds of companies pursue,” said Jennifer Kluge, NABR president. “This year’s winners proved to be companies that display an impressive commitment to their employees and are an example for other companies to emulate.”

NABR will honor Skender Construction and other winners at “Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies To Work For” annual symposium and awards luncheon on Aug. 20 at the Double Tree Hotel Chicago in Oak Brook.
