Solomon Cordwell Buenz promotes Clara Wineberg to principal

Architecture, interior design, and planning firm, Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB), has promoted Clara Wineberg, AIA, LEED AP, to principal.

She started at SCB as a project architect in 2006. Now, as principal, Wineberg will inform the firm’s vision and strategy for ongoing success through the relationships she heralds, projects she leads, and the studio she directs. She will continue to identify market trends and opportunities, and is actively engaged in business development pursuits in both the local and national markets she serves.

Prior to her joining SCB, Wineberg has worked with Landon Architects, Nagle Hartray Architects, and Lucien Lagrange Architects.

Wineberg earned both her Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees from Tulane University in New Orleans. In addition to being a member of the American Institute of Architects, she is active in the Urban Land Institute (ULI), participating on its Mixed-Use local Product Council, she is a presiding member of the Wilmette Historic Preservation Board, and serves on the New Trier School Board Caucus.
