Sperry Van Ness has recently completed one sale and two lease transactions in the West Loop, paving the way for two new restaurants.

Scott R. Maesel, executive managing director,  represented the seller of 740 W. Randolph. The property, located at the northeast corner of Halsted and Randolph, contained Holiday Bar and Grill. The property was listed for $975,000 and sold in less than 90 days from list to close. The buyer is a private owner user in the hospitality business.

Additionally, Maesel represented the landlord in the leasing of 800 and 804 W. Randolph. The corner space was leased for $39.00/SF Net to Brendon Sodikoff (Guilt Bar, Maude’s Liquor Bar) who will be opening a new bar & grille concept, Au Cheval. The inline space was leased for $35.00/SF Net to Chef Matt Eversman whose new restaurant venture will be called Oon.

These new restaurants exemplify just a small portion of the retailers and restaurateurs moving into the West Loop.
