Chicago’s Sperry Van Ness recently helped the Don Pablo’s restaurant chain structure and complete a 20-year sale/leaseback on its restaurant in Carmel, Ind.
Paul Seidman, chief executive officer of Don Pablo’s, said that the Carmel location was the last of Don Pablo’s company-owned buildings. Part of the company’s strategic plan was to sell its real estate by the end of the year and lease it back.
The investor in the deal is from Southern California.
The leaseback deal was completed by Sperry Van Ness’ Easy Leasebacks division, a division founded by Peter Colvin, Chris Colvin, David DeMaagd, Sean Lutz and Dan Elliott, all advisors with Sperry Van Ness.
