Transwestern Real Estate Services announced that SPS Commerce Inc., a global retail supply chain network company, has renewed its lease at its namesake building in Minneapolis. SPS Tower is a 31-story, 655,070-square-foot, Class-A building in the Minneapolis Central Business District.
Transwestern Vice President Jim Montez and Principal Reed Christianson handle the leasing efforts, and General Manager Bob Trager leads property management services.
“We’re thrilled SPS Commerce has chosen to renew its commitment to both SPS Tower and the city of Minneapolis,” said Montez. “Returning tenants are seeing major improvements throughout the property, including a new and improved Turf Club and pavilion, so our tenants can continue to enjoy the largest outdoor space in the CBD.”
SPS Tower has implemented a host of new technological and environmental updates to make the building safe for returning tenants. Updates include a living wall, touchless elevators, wave-activated touchless doors and electrostatic disinfecting cleaning protocols. New protocols also offer tenants a 100 percent touchless route from the street to their office space. The property is certified LEED Gold and boasts an International TOBY award for excellence in property management.
Pete Kostroski and Chris Rohrer of Rokos Advisors, a Minneapolis-based real estate consulting firm focused on representing business owners and leaders in the Twin Cities, represented SPS Commerce in the transaction.
