Jameson Sheley has been named general manager for St. Louis-based Byrne & Jones Construction‘s sports division. In his new position, Sheley will oversee the construction of the firm’s natural and artificial turf, track and field, tennis court and other sports projects.
For more than five years, Sheley has been managing some of Byrne & Jones largest athletic field projects including work for the University of Missouri, Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, New York Jets, New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, Gateway Grizzlies, Southeast Missouri University, Quincy University and numerous high schools throughout the Midwest.
Sheley earned a degree in construction management from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and is a member of the American Sports Builders Association and holds a designation of Certified Track Builder and Certified Field Builder – Synthetic.
