Britt Taulbee has been promoted to general manager of St. Louis’ Byrne & Jones Construction‘s asphalt division. Byrne & Jones is the largest commercial asphalt paving company in metro St. Louis.
In his new position, Taulbee will oversee the asphalt division sales, estimating and operations, which builds and maintains parking lots, roads and highways. In 2013, it completed the four largest private asphalt parking lot projects in the region. The projects totaled more than 90 acres and included parking lots for St. Louis Premium Outlets and Taubman Prestige Outlets in Chesterfield, Mo., South County Shopping Center and Express Scripts.
Taulbee has a degree in civil engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
