Jeffrey Murphy, executive vice president of Drilling Service Co., has been named president of the St. Louis-based Construction Forum.
Murphy is joined on the Forum’s execuive committee by Shonnah Paredes, manager of diversity programs for the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, who will serve as vice president; and Doug Mueller, partner at WIPFLI, who will remain as treasurer.
Murphy is a second-generation member of the St. Louis construction industry. He has worked at Drilling Service Co., the deep foundations contracting firm founded by his uncle and father, for 41 years.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Missouri and a master’s degree in business administration from Washington University.
Construction Forum, founded in 2013, in a nonprofit, backbone organiztion that serves as a convener, communication channel and collaborative builder in the workforce DEI space.
