St. Louis’ Green Street Real Estate Ventures hires director of strategy and development

Dr. Gerard Hollins has joined St. Louis-based Green Street Real Estate Ventures as its director of strategy and development.

The newly created role is part of a larger restructuring that will help identify opportunities and partnerships as Green Street expands its portfolio across the nation.

Previouly, Hollins served as the director of revenue for St. Louis County, Missouri, where he was responsible for managing the department of revenue, a four-division, 150-position entity with an annual budget of about $6 million.

Hollins also had oversight over the county’s Board of Equalization, which is responsible for deciding all real estate assessment appeals within the county.

Hollins has also served as financial analyst for the Board of Aldermen for the City of St. Louis, public finance analyst for the County of Los Angeles and a business strategy and graduate school admissions consultant for College Launch in Pasadena, California.

In his new role with Green Street, Hollins will identify new opportunities and partnerships, economic incentive consulting, government relations and strategic real estate planning for Green Street companies and its affiliates.
