St. Louis-based IWR North America, a provider of building enclosures, has added Joel Reed to its team as a project manager, primarily focusing on metal construction projects.

Reed brings a diverse and comprehensive background in the construction and industrial sectors, with significant expertise in project management, safety management and estimating. His experience spans over two decades, with a strong emphasis on sheet metal projects and a proven track record in delivering high-quality and efficient solutions.

Prior to joining IWR North America, Reed worked at Kuenz Heating and Sheet Metal, Missouri Builders Services and United States Steel. His diverse responsibilities ranged from estimating architectural and fabrication projects using advanced software, to hands-on technical work like wiring and troubleshooting control circuits.

Reedy managed project lifecycles, involving detailed submittals, drafting, material logistics, and manpower scheduling. His role also encompassed critical safety oversight, coordination with general contractors and superintendents, and direct customer engagement for fabrication and installations.

Notable projects under Reed’s leadership include work on prominent sites such as the U.S. Silica, Washington University’s South Danforth Campus, and a major Boeing expansion project. His involvement in these projects has demonstrated his capacity for handling large-scale constructions with precision and excellence.
