KAI Build expanded its St. Louis team with the addition of Dave Callanan as Senior Project Engineer.
In his new role, Callanan serves as a liaison between clients and KAI’s multi-disciplinary team, helping to guide construction projects from concept through completion. He is responsible for ensuring alignment with scope, budget and schedule, while supporting field and office operations out of KAI’s St. Louis office. He is currently assigned to two key initiatives: the Hope & Restoration Community Center and the Urban Sprouts Café.
Callanan brings eight years of construction industry experience, including roles as a carpenter, estimator and project manager. Most recently, he worked as a project manager/estimator for AME Constructors in St. Louis. He is OSHA 10-hour certified through the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America and is also a licensed Master Captain with the U.S. Coast Guard.
His project portfolio includes renovations to Powell Symphony Hall, the Nursing and Health Sciences Center at St. Louis Community College’s Florissant Valley Campus, and elevator upgrades at Mount Grace Convent, home to St. Louis’ cloistered Pink Sisters.
