St. Louis’ Koch Development Co. names CEO

Stacey Kamps

Stacey Kamps has been promoted to chief executive officer of St. Louis-based Koch Development Co. and has been elected to its board of directors and executive oversight committee.

She previously served as managing director, responsible for Koch’s investments and the management of its commercial real estate and amusement attractions portfolio. The announcement was made by Koch Development cochairs Paul Koch and Roger Koch.

Entering its second century in business, Koch Development is a St. Louis-based, third-generation, family-owned company that develops, owns and manages a portfolio of commercial real estate and entertainment attractions. Kamps also is the manager of Koch Development’s SkyWheel® Attractions, with operations in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Panama City Beach, Florida.

Kamps continues to lead the Koch Family Office, which provides financial and wealth management services.

Kamps joined Koch in 2011 as chief financial officer after serving as senior director of finance and acquisitions at Charter Communications, where she managed $2.2 billion of asset acquisitions and divestitures and completed many bank, bond and equity transactions.

She began her career as a CPA at Arthur Andersen LLP, rising to manager in the Tax Consulting Services Group. An accounting graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a minor in German, she is president-elect of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) St. Louis, serves as treasurer of the Community School Board of Trustees, and is a member of the Midwest BankCentre Women Connect Advisory Board and Variety Women.
