St. Louis-based Lawrence Group added Susan Garvey as the firm’s new Head of Finance and Accounting.
Garvey brings more than 20 years of financial leadership experience in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry, with a strong track record of aligning financial strategy with organizational goals to support sustainable growth, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.
In her role at Lawrence Group, Garvey will oversee the firm’s finance and accounting operations, helping guide strategic financial planning in support of the firm’s continued expansion and long-term success.
Prior to joining Lawrence Group, Garvey served as Chief Financial Officer at Artori Group, a St. Louis-based integrated real estate solutions company. Her extensive experience also includes leadership positions at Utilitra, contracted by JF Electric, in Edwardsville, Illinois, where she served as Chief Financial Officer after an 11-year progression through finance leadership roles including Controller and Senior Controller.
Garvey holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and a Master of Business Administration from Lindenwood University. She is a member of the National Association of Women in Construction and the Worldwide Women’s Association.
