St. Louis-based Lawrence Group promoted Director of Talent Development Tyra Duren to a new role as Managing Director-Business Services.
In her new position, Duren will lead key support functions including talent development, technology and AI, marketing/data and analytics, and administrative services. She will also work closely with firm leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen communication, streamline operations, and ensure ongoing alignment between staffing, financial planning, and project goals. With a focus on organizational growth, nurturing innovation, and supporting workforce development, Duren will play a vital role in advancing the firm’s strategic vision and company culture.
Duren has over a decade of St. Louis-based human resources experience, having previously worked as a Human Resources Administrator for the Gateway Region YMCA, Human Resources Generalist for the St. Louis Cardinals, and Sr. Professional of Community & Culture at Concentrix.
She joined Lawrence Group in 2022 as Director of Talent Development where she has played a transformative role in driving holistic talent strategies that fueled organizational growth and empowered individuals to thrive. Strategic initiatives spearheaded by Duren include enterprise-wide projects that enhance organizational development, fostering a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion; and cutting recruiting expenditures by over 85% through strategic talent management.
