St. Louis’ McCarthy Holdings promotes company veteran to VP of information technology

J.C. Rudden

St. Louis-based McCarthy Holdings, Inc. has promoted J.C. Rudden to vice president, information technology.

In this role, Rudden will oversee all strategic and operational aspects of technology implementation at McCarthy, including strategy, business intelligence, field and enterprise applications, service desk operations, infrastructure and operations. He will replace Justin McFarland, who has been promoted to Chief Administrative Officer at McCarthy.

Rudden joined McCarthy in 2021 as director, information technology infrastructure, overseeing network, information security and server operations. Prior to joining McCarthy, he worked in a variety of leadership and technology roles across multiple industries, including finance, food and beverage, and insurance.

In addition to his responsibilities with McCarthy, Rudden is active in the IT Leadership Development Program through Ouellette & Associates in conjunction with Technology Partners. This organization’s goal is to strengthen and improve the IT community through the development of the next generation of IT leaders.

Rudden is also involved with World Record Baseball Charities, a group of local players who challenge Guinness World Records in various sports with a focus in raising funds for local charities, having raised over $1 million to date. He is a softball and basketball coach outside of work and volunteers in the Catholic church as part of the Knights of Columbus group, previously serving on the board of St. Clare of Assisi School.

Rudden earned both his Bachelor and Master of Business Administration from Fontbonne University in St. Louis.
