Jim Contratto has joined St. Louis-based construction management firm S. M. Wilson & Co. in the newly created position of Executive Vice President of Project Development & Strategy.
Contratto is responsible for leading and coordinating business development efforts, developing and executing strategies to identify new opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships and positioning S. M. Wilson to be selected by new target clients.
Contratto brings four decades of experience in preconstruction efforts, strategic planning, phasing, project delivery methods and aligning project desires for projects ranging from several million dollars to a billion dollars across multiple market sectors. He has held executive leadership roles focused on business development and has shared his expertise through speaking engagements for national organizations and industry publications.
Contratto holds degrees in Architecture and Design from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
