St. Louis-based Sansone Group, in partnership with Invesco Real Estate, has taken full title to 18.5 acres of land located in West Valley City, Utah, and will develop a 289,100-square-foot Class-A industrial building on the site.
This property is located adjacent to the previously closed “Godfrey Phase 1” project of 314,175 square feet and will serve as its sister building. This will be Sansone Group’s fourth ground-up industrial development in West Valley City.
The site is located in Salt Lake City’s Northwest Quadrant submarket near downtown Salt Lake City, Salt Lake City International Airport and Interstate 80. Salt Lake City is a central distribution point for the entire Western half of the continental United States, and the industrial market has a vacancy rate below 2%.
Rusty Bollow from Colliers International will handle leasing for the development, and Sansone Group will conduct property management.
Jeff Greenwalt of Sansone Group is credited with the growth in the Salt Lake market along with Jake Corrigan, also of Sansone Group. John Brown and John Benoist lead the development and project management teams respectively in Sansone Group’s St. Louis Corporate office.
