Houston-based Star Cinema Grill has executed lease agreements and plans to soon re-open two former IPIC movie theater locations in the Chicago suburbs of South Barrington and Bolingbrook.
Star Cinema Grill will begin operations at both locations in the first quarter of 2022. Star Cinema Grill remains in active negotiations to pick up more locations.
Improvements will include new premium recliner seats, all with seat heaters as well as seat-side food and beverage service to all seats, not just the premium sections. These locations will also offer Star Cinema Grill’s Premium Pod Seating, which have added amenities that guests will love like privacy walls, blankets and priority food and beverage service.
