Columbus, Ohio-based Steiner + Associates and Chicago’s Bucksbaum Retail Properties opened their 1.2-million-square-foot Liberty Center mixed-use project Oct. 22 in Cincinnati.
Liberty Center’s 200,000-square-foot Dillard’s is the first ground-up store for this retailer in Ohio. Dick’s Sporting Goods’ 80,000-square-foot concept store here is the first of its kind in the northern Cincinnati market. And the AC Hotel by Marriott represents another first in Ohio.
The 64-acre Liberty Center is at the junction of the Liberty Way Interchange at Interstate-75 and State Route 129 in Cincinnati. The project includes more than 800,000 square feet of retail, restaurants and entertainment, 75,000 square feet of office, 240 luxury apartments and a 130-key hotel.
