Sterling Bay announced Nader Elrashidy has been appointed managing director, life sciences ventures where he will manage all aspects of Sterling Bay’s life sciences business ventures including the company’s early-stage venture incubator and investment platforms.
A veteran pharmaceutical executive, Elrashidy brings decades of diverse industry experience, including investing in therapeutics, medical-technologies, and bioinformatics startups. Prior to that, his work focused on development of complex generic injectable drugs. Elrashidy also held leadership positions at AbbVie, where he managed a variety of financial and business development responsibilities.
Elrashidy holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
