Sterling Bay has selected Builtech Services LLC to construct its Howard Building in the West Loop, and the future neighbor to McDonald’s new headquarters, at 1000 W. Randolph St.
The adaptive re-use project consists of the rehabilitation and renovation of the two-story, 15,500-square-foot building for new tenants, including Starbucks and Anthropologie.
Located at the northwest corner of the West Loop, the Fulton Market District continues its evolution from long-time meat packing district to upscale neighborhood. The shops will sit across the street from what will be the new McDonald’s headquarters building, with Google’s Midwest headquarters also in the vicinity.
The renovation project is expected to be completed early January 2017.
