Steve Levitas joins NGKF’s Chicago office as vice chairman

Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) has announced that esteemed commercial real estate professional Steve Levitas has joined the firm as vice chairman.

Bringing nearly 20 years of industry experience, Levitas joins NGKF’s Chicago office with a focus on providing the highest level of tenant representation to clients on a local, national and global scale.

Prior to joining NGKF, Levitas served as a principal at Colliers International and spent the past 10 years specializing in tenant representation and occupier services.

He has earned many notable achievements throughout his career, which include winning the NAIOP Downtown Office Transaction of the Year award in 2012, as well as the Suburban Office Transaction of the Year award in 2005. He was also selected as a finalist for Chicago Office Broker of the Year award in 2006.

Levitas is a member of the board of directors for Junior Achievement of Chicago, a non-profit organization that seeks to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in today’s global economy. In addition, he is an active member of Chicago Office Leasing Brokers Association (COLBA) and CoreNet Global.
